Bren Rosenberg

I often say when asked what I do, that I sell pens. Perhaps to the average person that simple line elicits no envy, no spark... yet what seems mundane to others has brought so many blessings into my life. For almost 20 years that I have had the pleasure of "selling pens" I have made friends out of coworkers and clients alike.

Doing what I do on a daily basis is mentally challenging and sometimes exhausting, I cannot count all the times my staff has said " they told me to ask you" or "what do you think"? I have turned coffee mugs into flower pots, convinced people that fly swatters make great gifts, done more s'mores puns than the number of calories they contain...yet each "aha" moment, each smile and each success is still as gratifying as the first ones were.

I thrive on new and exciting, on being odd and thinking outside the box.. I am still humbled by my coworkers, who handle my accounts with the same passion and care that I do and continuously make me proud with their unrelenting dedication, grace under fire, and determination to create the perfect experience for our clients...
they are what sets Maximage apart from the competition.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Magazines. I am a magazine whore. I read virtually anything and everything from The Economist to People, Shape and Vanity Fair.

What is my greatest achievement?

Definitely the successes I have found outside of my work. So proud I am of my son and stepsons, and my daughter who by some strange twist of fate ended up doing exactly what I do except that her business card has an address on Broadway. I am also blessed with a calming force to my storm, a husband who thinks nothing like I do, yet understands me like no one else.

On what occasion do you lie?

I would like to say never, or rarely but it is more often than I care to admit. Most of the time it’s to spare someone’s feelings. I am really sensitive beneath my tough exterior!

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Being homeless. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have nowhere to go at the end of the day.

What is your motto?

“If you are not happy with what you have, how can you be happier
with more?"

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Patience, who wants to wait for anything?

What is your current state of mind?

Blessed. The stars are all aligned these days, my kids are all happy, I have an amazing husband, and I am lucky to work with the greatest team of talented and incredible people everyday.

What is your greatest fear ?
Losing my memory..I have so many special ones.

What do you most value in your friends?
That they don’t get upset when I say “I gotta go, there’s
someone in my office!”

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
I don’t believe you

What is your most marked characteristic?
I am a storm, I have never ever been a calm blue sea

Which talent would you most like to have?
I would like to able to be invisible...I like to know what's
going on behind my back!
